In February of 2023, we participated in Calgary's annual YYC Hot Chocolate Fest! Portion of proceeds went to Calgary Meals On Wheels and locals absolutely loved our hot chocolate. Our creation? Belgian Berry Bliss Hot Cocoa

In May of 2023, we were humbled to be featured on CBC News! The Eyeopener sets the agenda for the day, asking the questions that need to be answered and delivering engaging local narratives to the residents of Calgary.

In July of 2023, we were informed Danaye, a mother, wife and show host, featured our Barbie cake jars on air! We received boat loads of love on these therefore, we hosted a movie ticket giveaway and gave out FREE mini Barbie cake jars to folks in our auditorium!

In October and December of 2020, our Pumpkin Spice cake jars and famous hot cocoa bombs were featured on one of YYC's largest social media pages. We gained exposure on numerous prominent Instagram accounts like Curiocity and Daily Hive Calgary, all of which played a part in spreading the word about AKB throughout the city!

In June of 2022, we had the priveledge to be a part of our first Ride & Drive For A Cause with RDFCause. The team was asked to provide a complimentary dessert bar for the attendees! The event was exceptionally organized in support of women facing challenges related to domestic violence.

In March of 2021, we were reached out to by the team at Leedr to include Made By AKB in their very first issue called "Ethical Entrepreneur". This was a major milestone for us given the issue was surrounded by sharing the inspirational stories of 100 Calgary entrepreneurs who have overcome fear, obstacles and hardship in order make an impact with their business.
